Have - Ctenanthe burle-marxii ‘Amagris’ baby

I have a tiny baby maranta type of some sort that I’ve been water propagating for a while that I can trade for something?

What’s your secret?? My maranta wasn’t happy being water propagated :tired_face:

Leuconeura but with pink lines :open_mouth: maybe I was just unlucky this time

This guy looks like a Maranta Amargris. Lovely little plants :slight_smile:

Thank you so much, I did more research and I found that it’s a Ctenanthe burle-marxii ‘Amagris’

I heard those are hard to take care of? Someone told me to prevent rotting when water propagating use activated charcoal if that helps!

I mist mine now and then but she needa very little care and she been putting out leafs all winter. It’s funny how everyone has different experiences with plants, I’d consider it quite an easy one. I’ve heard the charcoal too, I put hormones on her end and it didn’t rot but just didn’t root either and slowly flopped and curled up. You win some you loose some :blush:
